Antique Chromolithograph “Hold Hard, Master George” After John Leech (British 1817-1864) A young boy riding in a field towards a stream at left is warned by ‘Ruggles’ on horseback beside him: “Hold hard, master George – it’s too wide, and uncommon deep!”, to which the boy replies “All right, Ruggles we can both swim!”
